バッカス逝く。彼は酒好きだったか？
バッカスってつい最近まで生きていたのですね。
Fortranを作り、BNF形式の文法記述手法を生み、
ソフトウェア産業の勃興期のスーパーリーダーでした。
ほんとうにご冥福を祈ります。
ちなみにバッカスはお酒が好きだっただろうか？

John Backus was involved in the development of the FORTRAN programming
language and the
Backus-Naur form, but he also is famous for saying that we should learn
from failure. His death marks the end of an
important era in software development. He was 82.
